The WiKEE+ concept is continually conceived over the last  three decades of my working cateer, as I journey from bank Inspection/treasury Operations through financial market Trading/ Broking/Marketing to Training/Mentoring.   ​

​

It is gratifying to have countless numbers of market practitioners walking through the doors of my open-concept classrooms and fed me, as much as I have strived to feed them, immeasurable knowledge exchange , soaked in the passionate  spirit of Knowledge Empowerment and Enablement

​

All training and mentoring sessions are built around the qualities of being FRIENDS - Forthcoming, Relevance, Inquisitive, Engaging, Non-Judgmental, Discerning and Supportive

​​THE MISSION

​

To foster Continual and Shared Learning among working professionals via group experiential learning workshops and personal mentoring/advisory assists

THE BEGINNING

​

Having hands-on ground level experience is something no paper qualification can ever match up to in ensuring an effective performance of a task confidently and well done.  

​

I began my banking career in mid 1970sas a bank inspector, and then spent long hours in the treasury back office/settlement unit before entering the frontline arena of trading, broking and marketing financial products and services.  

​

Two decades back, I made a committed effort to assume a training career.   Over the years since, I have in countless classroom sessions kept company with central bankers, bankers and non bankers across Asia and the Middle East    

​

 

THE STORY SO FAR

​

​I shed my corporate shackles in the latter half of 2012.    That has since allowed me to respond more effectively to spontaneous requests for training and to pursue collaborative efforts with other market experts to serve the financial industry across Asia.   

 

I had relinquished my roles (Global Board Director for Asia Pacific and Regional Director of the Singapore Chapter) of PRMIA (Professional Risk Managers International Association) which were perceived as natural complements to realising my vocation to uphold the Mission of WiKee+ especially in the realm of risk management not just at home-base but across the whole of Asia Pacific

 

Presently, I am actively engaged in building a global peer-respecting risk community.   Over the last couple of months, I have assisted in forming a virtual finrisk institute forum on linked-in.   You can find out more at www.finrisk.org.   

 

On a pro-bono basis, I have been providing technical/industry advisory support to  Mandal Asset Management LLC (one of the leading asset management group in Mongolia) based in the capital, Ulaanbaater and currently holding directorships of Delta Neutral Pte Ltd (a single family office) based in North America/Switzerland and Neural and Neutral Pte Ltd (a predictive analytics enterprise in the energy/commodity spaces)

 

In addition, I continue to deliver public and in-house shared-learning workshops on risk management and financial markets.

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

 

​The world continues to thirst for Knowledge - knowledge that enables one to become more competent and confident in taking on the challenges posed by pressing job profiles and a rapidly changing market environment.  

 

Knowledge without Wisdom is useless.  

 

Going forward, I will be embarking on a series of new projects to engage other like-minded people in giving flesh to the vigor of WiKEE (Wisdom and Knowledge Enablement and Empowerment)

 

My gratitude to my parents and grandparents for giving me my Chinese name Wai Kee which so aptly instils that spirit in me and enables me to share it with others of like minds

Pursuit of Knowledge and Wisdom can only be achieved among a group of people coming together as FRIENDS in fostering an ambience of Feel-Flowing spirit of ideas and experiences, being able to Relate seemingly unrelated matters to milk relevance in furthering the depth of the subject matter, by staying Inquisitive and Engaging, most importantly be Non-judgmental to one another and oneself, and ready to to Discern amidst a bursting reservoir of information and remain Supportive of each other in the Collaborative Learning and Safe Space CLaSSroom and experiencing the power of Knowledge Sharing at its best
